The Head of KG and Elementary is responsible for leading the early years and primary phases to ensure a strong foundation in teaching, learning, and student wellbeing. The role involves overseeing the American curriculum across KG and elementary grades, ensuring lessons are engaging, developmentally appropriate, and aligned with school standards.
They support and develop teachers through coaching, lesson observations, and professional feedback, while tracking student progress to raise achievement and close learning gaps. In addition, they work closely with senior leadership and parents to maintain a positive, nurturing school culture, ensuring young learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a safe and inspiring environment.

The school prefers experience of teaching an American curriculum, but will consider other curriculum backgrounds as long as the cultural fit works and how teachers adapt to situations that demand strong differentiation skills, not only academically, but linguistically and culturally too. Ideally you should have an excellent knowledge of curriculum development and assessment and use of technology in the classroom. This is not a western expatrate school and caters mostly for local and Arab expatriate children.
