Subject Physics - High School Start Date Immediate Location Al Ain Abu Dhabi This established international school in Al Ain provides a broad education from KG through Grade 12 serving a diverse student body of approximately 2 000 students representing around 39 nationalities The school offers a combination of British and American pathways including Cambridge qualifications and an American high school programme providing students with a range of options through their secondary education The school has a strong focus on academic achievement student development and extracurricular opportunities supported by a range of specialist facilities sports areas and dedicated learning spaces With a significant Emirati student population and an internationally experienced teaching community the school offers teachers the opportunity to work in a culturally diverse and well-established UAE educational environment

Salary Tax Free Per Month AED
12000 including accommodation allowance

Other Benefits include a negotiated flight allowance and medical insurance

Bachelor s degree in Education or a relevant subject

Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, teaching licence or equivalent

Minimum 2 years of recent teaching experience

Experience teaching the relevant subject at Secondary level

Experience with in an international school environment would be advantageous

Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons

Experience with Cambridge IGCSE and/or AS/A Level would be advantageous

Experience with the American curriculum and AP courses would be an advantage

Strong understanding of assessment and using data to monitor and improve student progress

Ability to differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and learning needs

Strong classroom management skills and high expectations of student behaviour and achievement

Commitment to high standards of teaching, learning and student progress

Ability to work effectively as part of an international teaching team Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community

Experience working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds

Previous UAE or GCC experience would be advantageous
