Cover Teacher - Primary

Aldar Education is currently seeking outstanding Cover Teachers to join our schools across Abu Dhabi for Academic Year  This is an exciting opportunity to join the highly successful Aldar family We are seeking adaptable passionate and dedicated educators who can provide high-quality teaching and learning during periods of staff absence including maternity leave long-term sick leave and other short-term or fixed-term cover requirements across our schools Successful candidates will demonstrate strong classroom management skills a commitment to student progress and the ability to quickly establish positive relationships with students staff and parents They will be able to adapt seamlessly to different school environments while ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning Successful candidates will find themselves welcomed into a wonderful school family community where staff are held in high regard by pupils parents and school leadership alike The successful candidates will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region

• Bachelor s Degree in Education or Bachelor s Degree in a relevant subject with PGCE or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Teaching qualification meeting ADEK requirements

• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
• Experience teaching the UK National Curriculum is preferred
• Experience with in an international school environment is desirable

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups and school settings
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to quickly establish positive and professional relationships with students, staff, and parents
• Strong knowledge of teaching, learning, assessment, and differentiation strategies
• Ability to maintain high standards and expectations while ensuring continuity of learning

• Provide high-quality classroom cover for teachers on maternity leave long-term sick leave and other planned or unplanned staff absences
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and teaching standards
• Ensure continuity of learning by following existing schemes of work lesson plans and school expectations
• Create a positive inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes student achievement and wellbeing
• Adapt lessons and teaching approaches to meet the needs of all learners including Students of Determination EAL learners and gifted and talented students
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide feedback in line with school expectations
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and implement the school's behaviour management policies consistently
• Build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents to support student success
• Work collaboratively with teachers middle leaders and senior leaders to ensure effective teaching and learning
• Uphold all safeguarding health and safety and child protection policies and procedures
