Aldar Education are currently seeking an outstanding Teacher of Art for the Middle and Senior School at Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing immediately.

Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum, mixed gender school until Year 9 and a girl's only Senior School. It is located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. • Working cooperatively with curriculum support staff (where applicable) to support student development
• Acting as a form tutor and supporting the pastoral needs of students.

• Clear understanding of the British curriculum
• Organising classroom provision, learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment
• Planning, preparing and presenting sessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the classes taught in line with the Learning and Teaching Policy
• Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative teaching
• Observing and assessing children in line with the Assessment Policy
• Being reflective of the classroom provision, sessions taught, progress made, and adjusting environment, planning and curriculum to reflect this
• Ensure the Mamoura British Academy Teacher and Learner DNA language and attributes are being embedded throughout the curriculum.

• Taking responsibility for the progress of classes taught
• Meeting requirements for the assessment and recording of students’ development using the schools designated assessment system
• Using data provided by assessments to influence further planning, provision and intervention
