Zayed University’s General Education Unit in Abu Dhabi invites applications for an Instructor in Arabic Language and Literature with expertise in teaching Arabic language and literature. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality General Education courses and support the preparation of graduates to become exemplary bilingual professionals and future leaders capable of contributing to national and regional development.

The Department of Arabic Language is part of the General Education Unit at Zayed University. It contributes to the university’s General Education curriculum by offering Arabic language courses designed to support students’ linguistic proficiency, academic communication, and broader educational development.

The successful candidate will fully meet the following expectations for the position:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Arabic Language and Literature (Ph.D. holders are preferred).
• A demonstrated record of excellence in teaching (preference will be given to candidates with university-level teaching experience).
• Evidence of scholarly or professional engagement in the field is desirable, including peer-reviewed publications.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate digital technologies and innovative teaching approaches into the classroom.
• Ability to teach both Arabic native speakers and non-native speakers.
