About the RoleThe Homeroom Teacher is responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that enables students to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction, monitor student progress, maintain effective communication with parents, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
As a key member of the teaching team, the Homeroom Teacher will uphold the school's values, support student wellbeing, and ensure compliance with GEMS Education standards and ADEK requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum objectives and student needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor, assess, and record student progress, providing timely feedback and intervention where necessary.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents regarding academic and pastoral matters.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, attendance, and student wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records and reports in accordance with school and ADEK requirements.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
- Participate actively in school events, parent meetings, professional development, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and child protection policies.
