• Provide inspirational and strategic leadership for the Primary School, ensuring alignment with the school's vision, values and strategic priorities.
• Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of the Primary School Development Plan, driving continuous improvement across all aspects of school life.
• Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, inclusion and high expectations for students and staff.
• Contribute as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team to whole-school strategic planning and decision-making.
• Work in close partnership with the Head of Secondary and wider Senior Leadership Team to ensure strategic alignment and coherence across the school, securing a seamless through-school experience for students and maintaining consistency in culture, curriculum, systems and expectations.
• Lead and drive whole-school strategic priorities and cross-phase initiatives, ensuring successful implementation, alignment and sustained impact across the Primary School.
• Drive innovation and the effective use of emerging educational practices and technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), to enhance teaching, learning and operational effectiveness.
• Maintain a visible, accessible and approachable leadership presence across the school community.
• Provide regular reports and updates to the Principal, Executive Leadership Team and Governors as required.
• Lead and secure outstanding teaching and learning across the Primary School.
• Monitor, evaluate and improve the quality of teaching through lesson observations, learning walks, work scrutiny, coaching and data analysis.
• Ensure the delivery of a broad, balanced and ambitious curriculum that meets the requirements of the National Curriculum for England, Ministry of Education (MoE) and ADEK requirements, while reflecting the school's educational philosophy and strategic priorities.
• Promote innovative, evidence-informed practice to maximise student progress and achievement.
• Provide direct line management, coaching and professional support to Assistant Principals and other designated leaders, ensuring high levels of performance, accountability and professional growth.
