Academic Subject Teacher Tutor Grades 8 to 12 Location Abu Dhabi UAE Work Mode On-site Organisation Shining Star Full-Time Part-Time Available Shining Star is looking for experienced Academic Subject Teachers Tutors for Grades 8 to 12 in Abu Dhabi We are hiring for Mathematics Physics Chemistry Biology The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge proven UAE teaching or tutoring experience and the ability to teach students from different school curricula with a structured concept-based and exam-focused approach
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and structured classes for Grades 8 to 12
- Identify learning gaps and provide targeted academic support
- Explain difficult concepts clearly and build strong fundamentals
- Prepare students for school assessments term exams and board examinations
- Conduct regular practice quizzes and assessments
- Track student performance and provide timely feedback
- Support students with revision doubt solving and exam techniques
- Communicate student progress and areas of concern to parents when required
- Prepare worksheets practice questions and revision materials
- Maintain attendance assessment and basic academic records
- CBSE
- Cambridge IGCSE AS A Level
- American Curriculum
- Canadian Curriculum
- Experience teaching senior secondary students will be highly preferred
- Must be currently residing in Abu Dhabi.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in the UAE.
- UAE school, tuition centre or academic institute experience is required.
- Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject or related field.
- Strong command of English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to teach face-to-face classes in Abu Dhabi.
- Availability for after-school, evening and weekend classes.
- Candidates without UAE teaching or tutoring experience will not be considered.
- B.Ed., PGCE, PGDE or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Grades 10 to 12.
- Ability to teach more than one subject.
- Experience with board exam preparation.
- Experience in small-group tuition or learning centres.
- Ability to create worksheets, assessments and revision plans.
