An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a growing charter school network in the UAE, with vacancies across Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
We are seeking an inspiring educator who is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and creating a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment. The successful candidate will help students develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and other key curriculum areas, while encouraging curiosity, creativity, confidence and a love of learning.
Important:
Candidates must currently be residing in the UAE and be available to start immediately or at short notice. Applications from candidates based outside the UAE will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the school's curriculum and learning objectives.
- Teach core primary subjects, including English, Mathematics and Science, as appropriate to the assigned year group.
- Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes active participation, independent learning and positive behaviour.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs, abilities and learning styles of individual students.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Use a range of teaching strategies, resources and educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
- Develop students' literacy, numeracy, communication, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Promote positive values, social development, collaboration and respect within the classroom.
- Maintain effective classroom management and high expectations for student achievement and behaviour.
- Communicate regularly with parents and colleagues to support student progress and wellbeing.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, school activities and wider school initiatives.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, student welfare and professional conduct.
Position Requirements
Bachelor,
3+ Years
work experience Candidate Requirements
- A recognised teaching qualification, such as a
B.Ed. or PGCE, preferably in Primary Education. - A degree in Education or a relevant subject.
- Previous experience teaching at primary level.
- UAE or international school experience is desirable.
- A strong understanding of primary teaching methods, curriculum planning and assessment.
- Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to create inclusive learning experiences and support students with diverse educational needs.
- A positive, flexible and collaborative approach to teaching.
- A commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.
- Currently residing in the UAE.
- Available to start immediately or at short notice.
