Position Overview
We are seeking outstanding MYP Humanities Teachers to join our exceptional team from August 2027
. The successful candidates will be passionate about inquiry-led learning, committed to academic excellence and eager to contribute to the continued success of our thriving IB community.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based learning experiences aligned with the IB curriculum, inspiring curiosity, critical thinking and a lifelong love of learning.
- Create an inclusive, internationally minded learning environment, differentiating instruction and using assessment data to support student progress and achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, share best practice and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and the wider school community, supporting student wellbeing and contributing to co-curricular and enrichment opportunities.
- Uphold the values of GEMS Education and the IB Learner Profile, demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and the wider life of the Academy.
