Instrumentation and Control Supervisor – ADNOC Group – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Instrumentation and Control Supervisor roles in Abu Dhabi with ADNOC Group oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and analytical instruments and control systems across operating areas. This role ensures safe, reliable, and compliant operations in line with HSE guidelines, operating procedures, and the Permit to Work system.

- Install, maintain, and repair electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and analytical instruments and control systems in operating areas.
- Supervise and participate in ESD system testing, plant shutdowns, and commissioning of new plants.
- Ensure correct use, calibration, and maintenance of workshop facilities and test equipment.
- Supervise and monitor technicians, fitters, and contractors during installation, commissioning, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all work complies with process control requirements and safety systems.
- Troubleshoot minor control system issues and report major discrepancies identified during ESD testing and emergency situations.
- Review and verify maintenance records, fault reports, log books, and alarm and trip indexes.
- Assess spare parts availability, estimate future requirements, and arrange procurement of tools, test equipment, and materials.
- Ensure adherence to HSE guidelines, operating and maintenance procedures, and Permit to Work requirements.
- Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in instrumentation, electronics, or a related discipline.
- Experience supervising instrumentation and control maintenance in oil and gas or industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of ESD systems, control loops, and analytical instrumentation.
- Ability to lead teams and coordinate contractors safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in maintenance documentation, reporting, and records management.
