- Perform preventive and routine maintenance of plant equipment, replacing worn or damaged parts and conducting test runs.
- Carry out major equipment overhauls, measure clearances, and determine part replacements to maintain availability.
- Diagnose complex faults and inspect/test equipment after repair to ensure safe and efficient performance.
- Prepare detailed daily maintenance reports documenting faults, repairs, time, and resources used.
- Identify required spare parts, tools, and materials for maintenance activities.
- Execute new equipment installations, modifications, and testing as per instructions and safety standards.
- Support senior team members in implementing system modifications and improvements.
- Record work order history and provide input for method statements and incident/near-miss reports.
- Ensure all activities comply with HSE procedures, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Secondary School Certificate with a trade certificate in mechanical maintenance.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of rotating and static equipment in large industrial plants, preferably oil and gas.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment servicing, overhauls, and repairs.
- Proficient in using measuring and testing instruments.
- Familiar with HSE practices, maintenance planning, scheduling, and reporting.
- Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
