Drilling and Completion Fluids Operations Supervisor – ADNOC Drilling – Abu Dhabi, UAE.

ADNOC Drilling is seeking a Drilling and Completion Fluids Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Drilling and Completion Fluids team. The role focuses on ensuring safe and efficient fluid handling, mixing, and delivery to wellsites while supervising field teams and maintaining operational performance. The position plays an important role in maintaining high operational standards, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting drilling operations across ADNOC's energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily drilling and completion fluids operations including fluid handling, mixing, and wellsite delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate field teams including technicians and operators to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Monitor equipment performance, fluid properties, and job execution to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to manage fluid inventory and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely delivery of drilling and completion fluids services to wellsites.
  • Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with ADNOC health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and enforce safe operational practices across field teams.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare operational reports including performance data, safety records, and incident reports.
  • Support the development of operational strategies and process improvements within the DCF team.
  • Train and mentor field personnel to improve technical capabilities and operational performance.
  • Maintain records related to fluid inventory, equipment usage, and operational activities.
  • Ensure all operations comply with ADNOC asset integrity management standards and company procedures.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in drilling and completion fluids operations within the oil and gas industry.
  • At least 2 to 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience managing field teams.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling fluids systems, wellsite operations, and oilfield equipment.
  • Ability to coordinate operational resources, logistics, and technical teams effectively.
  • Strong problem‑solving and operational decision‑making skills in drilling environments.
  • Proficiency in office computer software and operational reporting systems.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
