Drilling Performance Engineer - ADNOC Group - Abu Dhabi, UAEADNOC Group is seeking a Drilling Performance Engineer to monitor and analyse drilling operations performance and support continuous improvement across drilling activities. The role focuses on measuring operational KPIs, analysing drilling data, identifying efficiency improvements, and supporting operational excellence initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with drilling operations teams, data management systems, and real‑time monitoring centers to optimise drilling performance and ensure sustainable operational results.

- Develop and monitor drilling performance KPIs such as invisible lost time, non‑productive time, and dry hole performance.
- Compile operational performance data related to drilling activities and produce detailed performance reports.
- Participate in weekly and monthly drilling performance review presentations and reporting activities.
- Analyse drilling parameters and operational data to identify efficiency improvements and operational best practices.
- Communicate operational achievements and lessons learned to drilling operations teams.
- Support drilling performance reporting systems and maintain accurate performance databases.
- Conduct quality assurance and data integrity checks on drilling performance data.
- Coordinate with real‑time operations centres and engineering data management systems to collect and update operational data.
- Compile drilling performance reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support operational excellence initiatives including cost reduction and performance improvement programmes.
- Participate in technology implementation and innovation initiatives to improve drilling performance.
- Enhance internal performance management processes and reporting systems to improve operational data quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in drilling operations or drilling performance analysis within the oil and gas industry.
- Strong understanding of drilling operations, well performance indicators, and operational efficiency metrics.
- Experience working with drilling performance data systems, engineering databases, and operational reporting tools.
- Ability to analyse complex operational data and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong communication and analytical skills to support operational performance improvement initiatives.
