Electrical Technician

About the Role

We are hiring for a technical position in the oil and gas sector in Abu Dhabi. The role involves maintaining, overhauling and repairing electrical equipment such as motors, generators, transformers, switch gear, bus bars and other plant equipment.

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Follow work instructions, briefings and technical guidance from the assigned Electrical Supervisor.
• Adhere to industrial safety standards and site safety rules, including PTW system, toolbox talks, and HSE requirements.

• Proven ability to maintain, overhaul and repair electrical equipment.
• Experience with motors, generators, transformers, switch gear, bus bars and associated plant equipment.
• Basic English reading and writing; knowledge of Arabic, Hindi or Urdu preferred for clear communication.
• Physically fit and under 45 years of age.
• Higher education is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical protocols.
