Construction Superintendent - Piping; Walkin
Oversee and direct all piping construction activities on-site ensuring adherence to project specifications drawings and safety regulations. Manage and coordinate daily work schedules for piping crews including foremen, welders, fitters, and laborers optimising resource allocation. Implement and enforce stringent quality control measures for all piping installations including material verification, welding procedures and hydrostatic testing. Proactively identify and mitigate potential construction risks and conflicts particularly those related to piping systems and implement corrective actions.
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Hold a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in piping construction supervision within the oil & gas or petrochemical industry. Certified in relevant welding inspection (e.g., CSWIP, AWS) or NDT methods is highly advantageous. Demonstrated expertise in interpreting complex piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, and material specifications.
Criteria:
- Experience in construction (not design), Pipeline / Oil & Gas / EPC / Flowline / Wellhead / Brownfield / Upstream / Onshore
- Gulf / ADNOC experience preferred
- Clean-shaven policy applicable
- Candidates must be immediate joiners
- Candidates with Metro / Building / Road Infrastructure experience are not eligible
Age Criteria:
Maximum age limit is 49 years. For managerial positions, this may be extended up to 50 years if the candidate has significant Gulf experience.
Managerial and SR. Positions: A minimum of 5 years of Gulf experience in the relevant field is mandatory.
