Must Have Steel Industry Experience
Requirements- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or Science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in large Gas-Based DRI, Petrochemical, or Fertilizer plants.
- Experience in HYL DRI plant operations is preferred.
- Knowledge of P&IDs, pumps, compressors, turbines, and plant safety systems.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Fluent in English.
Responsible for carrying out field operations and monitoring plant equipment as per control room instructions to ensure safe and smooth plant operations. The role includes equipment line-up, field inspections, safe handover of equipment for maintenance, maintaining housekeeping standards, and supporting plant startup, shutdown, and emergency handling activities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and monitor field equipment in coordination with the control room.
- Set equipment and valve positions as required for process operations.
- Ensure safe isolation and handover of equipment for maintenance activities.
- Monitor plant parameters, identify abnormalities, and report deviations to Senior Field Operator/Shift Supervisor.
- Maintain field log sheets and operational records.
- Support plant startup, shutdown, and emergency handling procedures.
- Maintain housekeeping and follow all plant safety and MSDS procedures.
- Contribute towards achieving zero LTI and safe plant operations.
- Act as Senior Field Operator whenever assigned.
