Senior Wireline Tractor & Powered Intervention Engineer

Leading oil and gas company looking for an experienced Well Intervention Engineer specializing in wireline tractor conveyance and powered intervention operations across oil, gas, and water injection wells. Extensive hands-on experience in highly deviated and horizontal well environments, including H₂S (sour service) operations, delivering safe and efficient intervention solutions from planning through execution.

• Plan and execute wireline conveyance and powered intervention operations.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and optimize wireline tractor systems.
• Perform intervention activities in highly deviated, horizontal, and extended-reach wells.
• Configure tool strings and monitor downhole and surface parameters during operations.
• Execute shifting, plug setting/retrieval, brushing, debris removal, tubing cutting, and mechanical intervention activities.
• Support smart completion and through-tubing intervention operations.
• Conduct job planning, risk assessments, pre-job meetings, and post-job reviews.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, H₂S, well integrity, and client requirements.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, client communication, and crew leadership.

Experience with:

• Bidirectional and high-force tractoring
• Openhole and cased-hole conveyance
• Production logging and tractor-assisted perforating
• Sliding sleeve shifting and plug operations
• Completion accessory manipulation
• Debris cleanout and brushing
• Tubing and completion cutting

• Proven experience in well intervention and wireline operations.
• Strong experience in highly deviated, horizontal, and extended-reach wells.
• Exposure to H₂S/sour service and HPHT operations.
• Strong understanding of completion systems and downhole intervention techniques.
• Excellent troubleshooting, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong HSE awareness and client communication skills.
• Ability to lead crews and work effectively in demanding field environments.
