Job Description Summary

The Senior Civil 3D Modeler will provide drafting and modeling support to project teams. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk software, specifically AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of experience working on Civil 3D Software.

The Senior Civil 3D Modeler will be exposed to all aspects of a BIM project (BIM Modeling, Model Administration, Documentation, Scheduling, Library Creation etc.) and is expected to quickly gain the necessary working knowledge of project guidelines, processes and techniques to BIM projects profitably, meeting the time, resources and budget objectives of the project.

General Responsibilities

• Provide CAD drafting, BIM modeling and design support.
• Create Revit families and CAD blocks.
• Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements or CAD drafting from project managers.
• Review all work for completeness and accuracy
• Use checklists set up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines.
• Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis.
• Complete printing and plotting requests.

• Timely and accurate preparation of models, shop drawings, etc.
• Provide daily and weekly timesheets.
• Demonstrate a deep interest in learning new skills and knowledge
• Observe professional ethics.
• Positive attitude towards collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills.

• A Diploma/Degree in a construction-related field.
• At Least five years of Revit experience and AutoCAD experience.
• Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) Certification.
• Understanding of Construction Documentation.
• Knowledge of, and proven practical background in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software.
