About the job SENIOR CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Qualification (minimum) - Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

Experience - Minimum 12-15 years experience in Civil & structural design, detail engineering and Construction associated with major projects in the Oil & Gas Industry.

• Review the construction of Foundation package items, Piling works, pipe racks, pipe support, pits, excavation, technical queries, Engineering drawings, Design calculations, Construction method statement and workshops.
• Review contract scope of work, specification, project execution plan and accepted qualifications within the Contract.
• Participation in HSE workshops.
• Set up and manage all Civil, Structural, Construction and quality assurance activities within the organization under PMT in Oil & Gas sectors.
• Review and approval of manuals, engagement with Consultants, EPC Contractors and sub-contractors under concerned Department in accordance with Company's long term and short-term procedures.
• Inspections related to Civil & Structural works.
• Prepare bidding documents, evaluate bids, carryout clarifications, conduct meetings, review designs, Engineering drawings, supervise construction, installation and commissioning activities related to the Civil, Structural works (but not limited to) of future and ongoing projects by providing cost effective, timely and efficient support, while ensuring the safety and in accordance with COMPANY's policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in STAAD Pro, MAT 30, 30 Mat, AutoCAD.
• Design Review of Engineering drawings like Heater foundations, Equipment supporting structures, VENDOR Packages, Pile foundations Open foundations.
• Design and Review Dynamic Foundations like Compressors, Pumps.
• Preparing Project EPC scope works.

• Strong knowledge and experience in Brown Field Engineering/Modifications/Adequacy Checks/Installation and in Oil & Gas Industry.
• STAAD PRO, Auto Cad, Smart plant Review, SP 3D.
• Excellent understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering principles.
• Good knowledge of applicable law, codes, standards, ADNOC recommended practices.
• Analytical Thinking & Project Management Skills.
• Time management, Multi-tasking skills, Problem solving skills.
