We are looking for a Senior Research and Development Engineer to lead the design and development of embedded and hardware-based products from concept to production. This role combines systems engineering, hands‑on embedded development, and cross‑functional collaboration to deliver reliable, scalable, and manufacturable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Own the embedded/hardware product lifecycle from feasibility and design through launch and sustainment.
- Define system architecture, requirements, and interfaces across hardware, firmware, power, and connectivity.
- Lead embedded platform strategy including MCU/SoC selection, RTOS/Linux decisions, and firmware architecture.
- Drive hands‑on firmware development in C/C++ and support hardware bring‑up and board‑level debugging.
- Specify and integrate embedded interfaces and protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet, USB, BLE/Wi‑Fi).
- Plan and execute verification and validation activities across EVT/DVT/PVT, including root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with product, manufacturing, QA, and suppliers; maintain clear technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Embedded Systems Engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in embedded systems AND hardware product development.
- Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ and low‑level system design.
- Experience with hardware bring‑up, system architecture, and production releases.
- Strong problem‑solving and cross‑functional communication skills.
