Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Specialist HSE (Offshore - WHTs, Subsea Cable & Piping B/Fs) for one of Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.
Qualification Required- The candidates should have bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related).
The Punch List Coordinator is responsible for managing, tracking, and closing punch list items during offshore construction, pre‑commissioning, and commissioning phases for Wellhead Platforms (WHTs), subsea cable systems, and subsea piping
. The role ensures that all outstanding items are resolved in compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and schedule requirements prior to mechanical completion and handover.
- Establish, maintain, and manage Category punch lists for offshore works.
- Coordinate punch list creation during inspections, walkdowns, and system handovers.
- Ensure punch items are properly described, categorized, prioritized, and assigned.
- Track punch list status through to closure and verification.
- Maintain punch list databases (e.g., WinPCS, ICAPS, Pro Co Sys , Excel).
- Prepare daily and weekly punch list status reports.
- Support system handover dossiers and Mechanical Completion (MC) packages.
- Ensure all punch closures are supported with proper documentation.
- Verify punch clearance for offshore‑installed subsea systems prior to energization or commissioning.
- Verify completed punch items and support sign‑off with discipline engineers and client representatives.
- Act as focal point between offshore teams, onshore engineering, and project management.
- Coordinate corrective actions with vendors and contractors.
- Ensure timely escalation of critical or safety‑related punch items.
- Ensure all punch list activities comply with offshore HSE requirements.
- Identify safety‑critical punch items and ensure priority resolution.
- Support quality audits and client acceptance processes.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore oil and gas project.
- Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
- Preferred experience from PMC/EPC background.
- Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is an advantage.
- Strong exposure to WHTs, subsea cable systems, and subsea piping.
- Proven experience in punch list management during construction and commissioning.
- Familiarity with offshore codes, standards, and client specifications.
