Overview
- Develop sustainable practices and strategies to promote environmental stewardship within the organization
- Lead the Environmental Engineering team and provide guidance and mentorship to subordinates
- Ensure all necessary Environmental Management System (EMS) submittals for tenders and proposals are in line with client requirements and the company’s EMS
- Design project environmental management plans in line with client requirements, environmental study recommendations, and in close coordination with project management
- Conduct environmental aspect/impact assessments for activities
- Conduct environmental awareness and training sessions
- Enhance the sustainability performance of the D&M business unit in alignment with UAE s sustainability guidelines and goals
- Lead the development of environmental initiatives within the unit to improve sustainability performance
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
- Technical certifications in Environmental Management Systems are preferred
- IEMA or NEBOSH Environmental Certificate is considered an added advantage
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in similar industries
- Experience with ISO 14001 auditing processes
- Experience in dredging and marine projects is highly preferred
