Key Responsibilities- Assimilate Al‑Tariq Weapon simulation and test requirements into HILS and PTE product specifications.
- Define detailed design architectures and concepts for the HILS and PTE Benches.
- Design, develop, build and commission HILS and PTE Benches.
- Facilitate and participate in the development of the HILS simulation and self‑test software in accordance with its product specification.
- Generate the PTE test software for the Al Tariq weapon in accordance with the Acceptance Test Specification of the Al‑Tariq Weapon and applicable sub‑system units.
- Produce, configure in SAP and maintain the HILS and PTE product data packs and software PDI’s.
- Implement HILS & PTE design improvements, resolve electronic/electrical design related issues, and resolve component obsolescence.
- Implement upgrade requirements to the HILS and PTE Benches in line with Al Tariq Weapon changes and new configurations.
- Ensure compliance between the Al‑Tariq Weapon specifications and the HILS/PTE specifications and their hardware/software baselines.
- Ensure that all serialized HILS and PTE benches build history information is to be maintained in the EBHD system.
- Perform preventive maintenance and provide continuous support to the Production Team by ensuring that the PTE is serviceable and performing production tests in accordance with specifications. Resolve issues with PTE in a timeous manner to minimize disruption and production down‑time.
- Perform ad‑hoc tests on production items as requested by the appropriate design engineer. Compile, analyse and report the ad‑hoc test results in work package format.
- Conform to company COPPS and relevant DoD and MIL Standards.
- 8+ Years’ experience in product development and product testing in development and production environments.
- A degree / diploma qualification and/or equivalent technical qualification related to Electronic Engineering.
- Ability to think at system level as well as at detail level.
- Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams.
- A positive and collaborative, can‑do attitude.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Innovative thinking
- Results oriented
- Software development capability would be preferable.
