Job Description
University (UAEU) invites applications for a research associate position starting April 2026 to work on a research project in the area of construction materials and concrete technology. The candidate will support the faculty investigators in various areas of concrete technology, including material characterization, mixture proportioning, performance evaluation, microstructure characterization, etc.
Minimum Qualification- A Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
- A Master of Science in civil engineering.
- Documented evidence (thesis, journal articles, and/or conference papers) of relevant experience in the field of concrete technology (material characterization, mixture proportioning, performance evaluation, microstructure characterization).
- Experience in concrete mix design, 3D concrete printing, laboratory work (e.g. casting, testing, fixing strain gauges, etc.), data collection and data analysis.
- Intent to pursue a PhD in Civil Engineering at UAEU, as applicable.
- A Ph.D. in the field is considered an asset, as applicable.
- Demonstrated interest in carrying out research and working under tight deadlines.
- Submit a detailed CV and a list of publications.
