Radio Frequency Technician

Overview

We are seeking highly motivated RF Technicians to join our engineering operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory, hands-on repair and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work within technical environments involving communication systems, testing equipment, and field diagnostics. This role is critical in ensuring proper maintenance of RF devices.

• Testing & Troubleshooting:
  Perform preventive maintenance by following equipment manuals to ensure device reliability and performance.
• Testing & Troubleshooting:
  Diagnose and troubleshoot faults on the RF devices.
• Testing & Troubleshooting:
  Use test instruments such as Radio Test sets, Spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, RF power meters, etc.
• Technical Support:
  Assist senior engineers in field operations, site surveys, and RF system upgrades.
• Technical Support:
  Support integration of RF components with electronic assemblies.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Maintain logs, test results, calibration sheets, and maintenance reports.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Ensure adherence to safety standards, operational protocols, and compliance requirements.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Participate in technical reviews, audits, and quality assurance activities.

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (min. 3 years’ experience)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (Fresh graduates accepted)

• Solid understanding of basic electronics, RF theory, propagation, modulation, signal behavior, and frequency domain concepts.
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams, wiring layouts, and RF schematics.
• Practical exposure to repairing, soldering, assembling, or testing electronic components.
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for hardware and RF troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and in field environments.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Experience working in RF labs, telecom, defense, electronics manufacturing, or testing environments.
• Exposure to military communication systems (advantage but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of digital/analog electronics and embedded hardware fundamentals.
