Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer – Rotating Equipment (OP-MA)
Location: Offshore (UAE)
Contract Type: Contract Hire
Salary & BenefitsAED 12,000 – 14,000 per month + Offshore Allowance (non-negotiable)

Offshore: 06:30 – 18:30 (7 days a week)
Leave: 28 days paid leave after 28 days continuous work
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Valid UAE light vehicle driving license preferred
12+ years in maintenance and inspection of rotating equipment including reciprocating compressors, centrifugal pumps/blowers, gas turbine generators, diesel engines, and auxiliaries in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Chemical industries
Experience in planning, preparation, execution, review, and corrective actions for rotating equipment
Supervise major overhauls, time-based inspections, breakdown maintenance, and modification/retrofit works
Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and overhaul, including replacement of worn or damaged parts
Arrange test runs, evaluate equipment performance, and provide technical solutions
Prepare RFQ packages, TBE, and vendor suggestions; review vendor designs and datasheets
Specify rotating equipment for offshore applications and develop life cycle costs for repairs and replacements
Develop QA/QC standards for rotating equipment maintenance and prepare technical specifications and datasheets
Recommend spare parts for rotating equipment
Familiarity with work permit systems and safe plant working practices
Ability to read machinery curves, datasheets, and calculate efficiency
Basic working knowledge of instrumentation installed on machinery, including vibration monitoring, ESD systems, and DCS
Ability to read P&, isometric drawings, equipment cross-sections, and cause-and-effect charts
Perform basic engineering calculations (flows, power, gas properties)
