This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Procurement QA QC Engineer - Bulks, Valves, Static, Structure, Packages with a proven track in handling Procurement Quality on major ADNOC projects.

The key objectives for this role are:

• Supports the application of procurement quality principles, measures, and the quality management system across a program or project
• Focused on improving delivery efficiency, and customer satisfaction and reducing potential risks and rework whilst complying with Quality policy, and standards and delivering agreed objectives
• Supports assurance of the Wood Business Management System through a structured risk-based program
• Supporting measures that ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement using performance data to make factually based decisions. Engaging and presenting quality leads/managers with information and data to enable preventive interventions
• The scope of this position typically applies in support of a deployed Quality manager on a larger/complex Program/project

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Vendor and subcontractor selection and approval, ensuring compliance with quality standards and procurement best practices
• Oversee procurement quality management, ensuring alignment with industry standards, project specifications, and supplier evaluation protocols
• Develop and implement inspection & testing plans, ensuring thorough quality assessments for mechanical components and systems
• Conduct criticality rating assessments to optimize procurement strategies for Bulks, Valves, Static, Structure, Packages
• Supervise vendor/subcontractor inspections, audits, and non-conformance (NC) resolution, maintaining strict adherence to QC protocols
• Define and monitor Procurement Quality Objectives & KPIs, driving continuous improvement in QC and procurement efficiency
• Evaluate vendor & subcontractor performance, leveraging detailed analysis and assessments for procurement-driven decision-making
• Ensure accurate procurement document control, maintaining traceability, compliance, and documentation integrity
• Conduct technical bid evaluations, resolve technical queries, and manage change requests effectively within procurement and quality control operations
• Liaise with Third-Party Inspection Agencies, ensuring compliance with mechanical-related regulations and industry standards for Bulks, Valves, Static, Structure, Packages
