KN International is urgently seeking a highly skilled
Principal Resident Engineer
to join our team. This role involves overseeing the
infrastructureservices
aspects of projects, ensuring quality execution, compliance with local regulations, and efficient coordination with contractors. The ideal candidate should have
extensive experience in pumping stations and fluid mechanics
.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate
  pumping stations, fluid mechanics, and related systems
  to ensure compliance with project specifications andlocal regulations.
• Supervise the contractor’s work, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, safety standards, and quality control measures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and progress monitoring to ensure timely completion of M&E systems.
• Manageand respond to
  RFIs, submittals, and technical queries
  relatedto mechanical and electrical works.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including contractors, consultants, and government authorities, to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review project documentation, including material approvals, method statements,and shop drawings.
• Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to maintainproject efficiency.
• Attend
  weeklyand monthly progress meetings
  , providing technical input and status updates.
• Ensure compliance with
  health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
  on-site.

Required Qualifications &

Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the relevant engineering discipline
• Minimum
  20 years of experience in
  infrastructure services
  , preferably within theUAE.
• Experience in Main Pumping Stations, 33kV Substations, and Transmission Networks
• Experience with TRANSCO or TAQA, approval from TRANSCO is preferred
• Strong technical expertise in
  pumping stations, fluid mechanics, andM&E systems
  .
• Proven experience in
  construction supervision, quality control, and contract administration
  .
• Excellent
  problem-solving,leadership, and communication skills
  .
• Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple taskseffectively.
