The Field Service Engineer reports to the Service Centre Manager – Abu Dhabi, working on a wide range of Celeros Flow Technology brands, third‑party equipment, and API pumps. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and inspecting equipment at customer sites while ensuring smooth operation and timely reporting. Work is conducted primarily from external locations but may also include occasional support at the Abu Dhabi Service Centre.
PrincipalDuties And Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of new equipment at site.
- Coordinate with manufacturing facilities to prearrange documentation, parts, and information required for commissioning and installation.
- Service equipment and perform maintenance in accordance with customer service agreements.
- Troubleshoot equipment/system problems and provide technical support and guidance to customers.
- Perform emergency breakdown service on a 24/7 basis.
- Handle warranty‑related service work at sites as necessary.
- Inspect or remove equipment for transfer to the Service Centre.
- Investigate operational problems at sites or the Service Centre to determine root causes.
- Disassemble, diagnose, and repair equipment; reassemble after maintenance or refurbishment.
- Produce detailed reports, including digital photographs.
- Re‑install equipment at site.
- Carry out condition and performance monitoring.
- Promote the use of Celeros original parts and service agreements.
- Foster a positive work environment and relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Lead on‑site field service teams, including workshop technicians and sub‑vendors.
- Carry out inspections and QC activities to ensure compliance with standards.
- Provide assistance in the Service Centre Workshop as required.
- Participate proactively in activities for all Celeros brands to expand product knowledge.
- Perform all duties safely and practice good housekeeping.
- Ensure adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety guidelines and projects.
- Maintain KPI metrics: on‑time delivery, SLA adherence, utilisation, audit compliance, and reduction of non‑conformances.
Skills And Abilities
- Working knowledge of pumps, mixers, gearboxes, valves, and experience installing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining these systems.
- Creative problem‑solving with strong engineering knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, manuals, safety rules, and produce written reports.
- High‑performance orientation and commitment to company goals.
- Strong safety and delivery focus with awareness of simultaneous requirements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.

- Vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Assembly (essential).
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Assembly (preferred).
- Prior experience as a Field Service Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry (preferred).
- Junior level, 1–2 years of related experience.
