Civil Inspector Onshore

Job Summary

The Civil Inspector will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and ensuring that all civil construction activities at the Ruwais onshore site are executed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role requires strong site experience in large industrial or oil & gas projects.

• Inspect civil construction works including concrete, structural works, foundations, and finishing activities
• Verify work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
• Monitor contractor activities and ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements
• Conduct daily site inspections and report non-conformances
• Review material delivery, storage, and usage at site
• Ensure works are executed in line with approved method statements and ITPs
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and project teams for inspection activities
• Maintain inspection records, reports, and site documentation
• Support punch listing and close-out activities during final stages of construction

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Civil Inspector in onshore construction projects
• Prior experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and materials
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with international codes and standards
• Experience working at large project sites (Ruwais or similar preferred)
• Willingness to work on-site for the full contract duration
