M&P Engineer
Deliver M&P packages on a complex build in the UAE.
What matters to us- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related discipline).
- 5–10 years of M&P experience with a main contractor, supporting delivery of complex building services packages.
- Working knowledge of UAE authority requirements and relevant standards (UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, NFPA, ASHRAE).
- Experience in theme parks, entertainment venues, or attraction-driven facilities is a strong advantage, particularly indoor environments with high interface density.
- Proven capability in site coordination, installation sequencing, and managing construction constraints in live execution conditions.
- Experience delivering high-spec MEP works, including testing & commissioning, handover, and close-out documentation.
- Practical understanding of M&P systems, materials, and site execution methodologies.
- Ability to interpret shop drawings, coordinated MEP layouts, and technical submissions.
- Clear English communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
- Availability to join on short notice is preferred.
Your contribution to our company
- Coordinate site execution for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and water supply systems.
- Coordinate M&P interfaces with specialist systems (show lighting, AV, ride vendor requirements, themed finishes, access constraints).
- Monitor M&P works to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications, and authority requirements.
- Review coordinated MEP layouts and technical submissions, supporting resolution of clashes and interface constraints.
- Track site progress against planned activities and support subcontractors to maintain productivity, quality, and sequencing.
- Supervise site teams and ensure work output meets required standards in both quality and workmanship.
- Support inspections, testing & commissioning activities, and handover documentation preparation.
- Monitor NCRs, snags, and site issues, ensuring closure within agreed timelines.
- Coordinate daily interfaces with civil, structural, architectural, and electrical teams to prevent rework and delays.
- Ensure correct use of materials, tools, and equipment, and confirm activities follow approved construction sequences.
- Coordinate with relevant authorities and stakeholders when required (e.g., Civil Defense, ADDC, ADM).
- Maintain accurate daily site records, progress reporting, and material tracking.
