Overview
Job Description Lead and manage telecom systems commissioning at the fabrication yard and support offshore readiness, ensuring all systems are tested, safe, and ready for offshore installation and operation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead telecom commissioning activities at the yard (FAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning)
- Supervise and coordinate contractors and commissioning teams
- Ensure telecom systems are installed and tested as per project specifications and offshore standards
- Review and approve commissioning procedures, test packs, and documentation
- Coordinate with construction, engineering, HSE, and client teams
- Support offshore commissioning and integration when required
- Ensure compliance with oil & gas and offshore safety standards
- Report commissioning progress and resolve technical issues
- 18+ years of oil & gas experience
- Strong offshore project experience (platforms, jackets, topsides, FPSO, etc.)
- Proven experience in telecom commissioning (radio, PA/GA, CCTV, networks, fiber optic, telecom systems)
- Previous role as Lead or Senior Commissioning Engineer
- Experience working in fabrication yards
- Strong coordination and leadership skills
- Familiar with international offshore standards and client requirements
