SITE HSE ENGINEER

Working Hours06:30 to 18:30 (1-hour lunch break), 7 days a week

Qualification (minimum)- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline / Health, Safety or Environmental Sciences or an equivalent
- Diploma in Safety Management or equivalent qualification.
- Possession of NEBOSH International General Certificate or Oil and Gas qualification.
Minimum ten (10) years of experience as an Engineer in the same discipline and UAE experience min 3 years.
Job Description & Responsibilities- Provides on-site HSE support and assistance to the Department team and works closely with Operations and Contractors to help prevent incidents and ensure successful on-site HSE program and Life Saving Rule implementation and monitoring.
- Responsible for observing and identifying HSE related issues that may affect the department, facilitate to implement Company's HSEMS requirements within the department activities to ensure alignment to Industrial best practices & HSE Standards and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Responsible to review and provide the required input to finalize any HSE related documents that requires to carry out the inspection, maintenance & contractor related activities/jobs safely.
- Conduct Contractor Audits (Pre-mobilization, Pre-execution etc.) and HSE inspections in line with Contractor management procedure.
- Provide required support to ensure compliance/improvement to Maintenance Management system, AIMS, Environment compliance & Regulatory compliance, Provides support for incident investigation and HSE performance reporting.
- Good knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations and best practice on HSE.
- Expert knowledge of all HSE and other relevant Safety regulations and standards.
- Expert knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Excellent incident investigation skills, Good Knowledge about ADNOC HSE Standard requirement.
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and contractors of various natures.
