Offshore Structural Engineer
Reporting directly to the Head of the Department, based in UAE, Abu Dhabi.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Civil or Structural Engineering (mandatory)
- Master’s degree (ME/M.Tech) with specialization in Structural Engineering (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Offshore Structural Engineering
- Proven experience in offshore structural design with strong technical competence and problem‑solving ability
- Experience in new offshore structure design as well as modification of existing structures
- Design experience in Fixed Offshore Structures including Jackets, Topsides
- Design exposure to Offshore Bridges, Flare Structures, and associated steel structures
- In‑service analyses:
In‑place, Fatigue, Pushover - Pre‑service analyses:
Load‑out, Transportation, Transportation Fatigue, Lift, On‑bottom Stability - Accidental analyses:
Boat Impact, Seismic, Blast
- Structural joints and secondary beams
- Pipe and equipment support
- Monorails and Access platforms
- Offshore Structure Buildings
- Lifting padeyes and trunnions
- Wind vortex shedding checks
- J‑tubes and riser clamps
- API RP 2A
- API RP 2EQ
- ISO 19902
- DNVGL‑RP‑C203
- AISC
- Proficient in offshore structural analysis software such as SACS and USFOS
- Ability to develop MS‑Excel macros using VBA for structural automation is an added advantage
- Familiarity with ADNOC, ARAMCO, and QP/QG specifications
