Abu Dhabi Role overview## Description We are hiring an Estimator to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations, tender documents, and commercial proposals by reviewing project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review RFQs, tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Prepare detailed cost estimations for materials, labor, equipment, subcontracting, and overhead costs
• Prepare BOQ, cost breakdowns, and commercial proposals
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and QA/QC departments for technical clarifications
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for costing purposes
• Analyze project scope, risks, and technical requirements
• Maintain estimation records and historical costing data
• Support management during tender negotiations and client discussions
• Ensure estimations comply with client specifications, company procedures, and applicable standards
• Monitor awarded project costs against estimated values for continuous improvement

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in estimation, costing, or tendering activities
• Experience in oil & gas, fabrication, piping, pressure vessels, or manufacturing industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of estimation techniques and cost analysis
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and estimation software
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills
• Knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, and related standards is an advantage

Preferred

Certifications:

• Estimation or Cost Control related certifications
• Quality or HSE training certifications
