Analyst Air Quality & Nuisance; Emiratization Initiative

Assist in reviewing, analyzing, and recommending improvements for air quality and noise pollution monitoring, including greenhouse gas emissions, to support effective decision-making in air quality management and environmental protection.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring and benchmarking activities by providing technical inputs on pollutant levels and supporting the comprehensive analysis of issues and risks to aid in controlling pollutant levels across Abu Dhabi.
• Support in the development of air quality monitoring networks, methodologies, and procedures to ensure reliable data collection and compliance with established standards.
• Collaborate with outsourcing partners to identify data requirements and assist in selecting appropriate locations for monitoring stations.
• Assist in preparing reports on air quality, noise, and greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to support informed decision-making.
• Contribute to the preparation of scientific papers and publications in collaboration with the Environmental Information Management Division to document significant findings.
• Provide support in developing educational materials and delivering awareness sessions on air quality, noise, and climate change monitoring in coordination with the Environmental Outreach Division.
• Assist in ensuring proper coordination and smooth operation of outsourced activities, verifying progress and compliance with agreed standards and timelines.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or any related specialization.
• Fresh graduates can apply for this role, preferably having 0-2 years of experience.
