SR. SAFETY/HSE ENGINEER
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Sciences, Occupational Safety or Engineering with formal training (certification / diploma) in Safety and Risk Management. Preferably a member of a recognized international safety organization. 8-12 years of safety and risk management experience in a similar organization with at least 4 years experience in a managerial role, preferably in a project-based environment.
SkillsStrong knowledge of implementing safety and environmental management systems programs, including occupational hygiene in a project-based environment. Up-to-date working knowledge of applicable HSE laws, municipal legislations, etc. Knowledge of recognized safety and environmental management system standards (e.g., OSHAD (Qudrat), NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) audit standards (i.e., ISO 19011) and behavioural safety techniques; demonstrated HSE compliance auditing and management systems assessments experience.
