Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced HSE professional to implement the Company HSEMS in line with ADNOC standards and industry best practices within the department. The role involves coordinating with other departments to ensure HSE alignment and a safe working environment, as well as supporting project teams in reviewing HSE deliverables from consultants and EPC contractors.
The candidate will conduct contractor HSE audits and site inspections in accordance with contractor management procedures, ensure compliance with Process Safety, Environmental, Regulatory, and Contractor Safety requirements, and supervise contractor activities on site to ensure safe and compliant execution of works. The role also includes carrying out incident investigations and root‑cause analysis for contractor‑related incidents, as well as monitoring and reporting contractor HSE performance and corrective actions to management.
Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Safety Engineering, or equivalent, with a NEBOSH Diploma or NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC). ADNOC approval is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE laws, regulations, and best practices, along with proven expertise in Oil & Gas HSE systems, process operations, and safety technologies.
- Advanced competency in HSE risk assessment, auditing, and hazard identification.
- Excellent skills in incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
- Strong leadership, decision‑making ability, and the capacity to perform under pressure.
- Effective HSE training, communication, and presentation skills, with high attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, good time management, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
