Quality Technical Services is hiring a Lifting Equipment Inspection Engineer to join our technical inspection team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in lifting equipment inspection, load testing, certification, and maintenance for both onshore and offshore operations. As part of our inspection and engineering services division, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of lifting equipment according to international standards and ADNOC requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and load testing of various lifting equipment and accessories
  • Inspect lifting equipment such as pedestal cranes, gantry cranes, runway beams, mobile cranes, crawler cranes, forklifts, winches, electric hoists, pull lifts, and chain blocks
  • Perform inspection and certification of lifting accessories including wire rope slings, webbing slings, chain slings, shackles, eye bolts, containers, baskets, and lifeboat davits and winches
  • Carry out load testing and certification of fixed and loose lifting gear in compliance with international standards and ADNOC requirements
  • Prepare inspection reports, load test documentation, and certification records with accuracy and technical clarity
  • Maintain proper documentation and records of all inspected lifting equipment
  • Participate in lifting audits and verification of lifting operations to ensure compliance with LEEA and ADNOC procedures
  • Support lifting teams in planning and executing routine and complex lifting operations
  • Utilize relevant software tools for reporting, documentation, and data management
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Certified LEEA Lifting Appointed Person or equivalent certification
  • ADNOC approved Appointed Person for Onshore or Offshore lifting operations is preferred
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in lifting equipment inspection, maintenance, and load testing
  • Proven hands on experience in inspection, troubleshooting, and certification of cranes and lifting accessories
  • Relevant UAE experience in lifting inspection and certification activities
  • Strong knowledge of international lifting standards such as LEEA, LOLER, ASME B30, and API
  • Proficiency in computer applications and technical report preparation
  • Good communication skills and proficiency in English
