To manage and coordinate the procurement and proposal processes by preparing competitive and compliant bids, sourcing technical and commercial requirements, evaluating suppliers and tenders, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring cost-effective procurement solutions that align with project specifications, timelines, and organizational objectives within the engineering consultancy and construction sector.
Key Responsibilities- Proposal & Tender Management:
Manage the full proposal and tendering process, including reviewing RFPs, RFQs, and EOIs, coordinating submissions, and ensuring timely delivery of compliant and competitive proposals. - Proposal Development & Coordination:
Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to collect technical and commercial information, and prepare proposals, presentations, pre-qualification documents, and company profiles in line with client requirements. - Procurement & Technical Sourcing:
Handle technical sourcing activities, obtain supplier quotations, and conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget requirements. - Risk & Cost Control:
Identify procurement and supply chain risks, support contingency planning, and contribute to cost optimization and value engineering initiatives to improve project efficiency. - Compliance & Reporting:
Maintain proposal and procurement records, ensure compliance with company and client standards, and provide regular reports, bid updates, and post-bid evaluations to management. - Supplier Management:
Audit vendor performance regularly to ensure quality compliance.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in proposal development, procurement, or tendering within the engineering consultancy industry.
- Familiarity with RFP, RFQ, EOI, procurement, and contract processes.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals and procurement activities under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of tendering, supplier evaluation, sourcing, and contract administration.
- Experience with proposal or procurement management systems is an advantage.
