Senior Piping Material Handling Engineer

Specialist engineer with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 10 years’ experience and with excellent knowledge in Piping Stress analysis and pipe support design in major oil/gas offshore and onshore projects.

• Capable of qualifying piping routing for high pressure compressors / pumps & other static equipment in oil and gas industry as per codes.
• Should have a good understanding of piping layouts as well as concept of EPC.
• In depth knowledge of relevant code requirements is essential.
• Preparation of Job specification for stress analysis.
• Preparation of stress critical line list.
• Stress analysis (static & dynamic) of critical lines and interpretation of results.
• Co-ordination with layout & supports team for implementation of stress analysis requirements and proposing improvements to have a more cost-effective design.
• Ensure compliance with code requirements and other project specifications for nozzle loadings.
• Preparation of specifications for expansion bellows, springs, rigid struts, etc.
• Should be able to foresee major bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Preparation of Data Sheets for expansion bellows, springs, rigid struts, sliding plates, etc.
• Technical evaluation of vendor offers and vendor documents review for special pipe support items like expansion bellows, springs, rigid struts etc.

Bachelors or Diploma.

Languages:

English + proficiency level (Basic, Professional, Fluent).
