- Develop optimization models to analyze and mitigate PM2.5 exposure across infrastructure systems
- Assess intake fraction metrics to inform infrastructure planning and policy
- Investigate residual PM2.5 emissions associated with transportation systems following electric vehicle adoption
- Conduct life-cycle uncertainty assessments of building materials, carbon sinks, and low‑carbon fuel sources
- Lead collaborative research with faculty and research teams
- Contribute to academic publications in reputable scientific journals
- Support data‑driven environmental modeling and exposure assessments
- Participate in interdisciplinary research aligned with climate, infrastructure, and health
- PhD in civil and environmental engineering or a related discipline
- Strong theoretical background in infrastructure modeling, emissions inventory, air quality modeling, exposure assessment, or life‑cycle assessment
- High proficiency in Python or MATLAB
- Strong publication record in peer‑reviewed journals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and lead research activities effectively
- Infrastructure systems modeling and environmental impact analysis
- Emissions inventory development and air quality modeling
- Exposure assessment techniques for airborne pollutants
- Life‑cycle assessment and uncertainty analysis
- Data processing, computational modeling, and simulation tools
