General
Oversee inspections of all soft landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, swimming pools, water features, fountains, and related specialist lighting. Review contractors’ packages and submissions from the site, including material samples and shop drawings. Ensure compliance with design intent, project specifications, and relevant standards. Implement the Project Electronic Data Management System. Attend site inspections and meetings, documenting all outcomes. Coordinate with the Site Lead Senior Associate on design and project compliance.
Collaborate with the Cost Consultant on value engineering and cost management. Overlap responsibilities with MEP-related scopes as required. Review and approve details for pools, waterways, plant pump room layouts, lighting, electrical supply, ventilation, and water supply in conjunction with MEP Engineers.
Tender
Tender Analysis and Award of Contract. Provide complete drawings and specification packs to the Cost Consultant. Assist in the tendering process, issuing clarifications, and evaluating tenders. Review and evaluate tender returns, participate in value engineering, and assist in contract documentation preparation.
Stage 6:Construction and Site Supervision
Review coordinated construction drawing packages and specifications. Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with the design and specifications. Review and comment or approve materials, alternative specifications, and shop drawings. Participate in project meetings, coordinate design activities, and assist in quality assurance. Organise and witness third‑party testing and inspections, instructing contractors on remedial actions as needed.
Stage 7:Testing and Commissioning
Assist in preparing the Technical Services Testing and Handover Procedures Document. Supervise the commissioning of systems and ensure successful handover. Review and verify As‑Built drawings.
Stage 8:Defects Liability Period
Attend inspections for outstanding works and defects. Supervise remedial actions for defective works. Inspect works at the end of the Defects Liability Period and advise on remedial actions. Regularly inspect plant establishment, maintenance, and operation of irrigation and pool equipment.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Horticulture, or related field
- Experience in landscape inspection, including soft and hard landscaping, irrigation systems, and water features
- Strong CAD and documentation skills
- Familiarity with local authority codes, international design standards, and environmental requirements
- Knowledge of MEP-related scopes, including plant/pump room layouts and Building Management Control Systems
- Experience in testing, commissioning, and handover procedures
- Ability to manage and supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with specifications
