Job Overview

Production Logging and Well Intervention Supervisor – ADNOC Group – Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role directs and controls site production logging and well intervention operations, providing reservoir, petroleum, production, and well integrity teams with accurate data on well performance, fluid behavior, and integrity conditions during production and injection operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise production logging and well intervention operations at offshore and onshore locations including barges and well head towers.
  • Ensure well sites are restored to original condition prior to demobilization.
  • Prepare logging plans and programs to meet reservoir, petroleum, production, and well integrity objectives.
  • Coordinate movement and logistics of logging units and tools in liaison with operations and stores teams.
  • Supervise and witness logging and slickline operations performed by service companies and validate data quality and results.
  • Review draft logs against approved programs to ensure full and accurate job completion.
  • Approve contractors’ job tickets, validate invoices, and prepare final logging reports for engineering teams.
  • Technically evaluate proposals from logging and slickline service providers and recommend selections based on performance and capability.
  • Coordinate with wireline supervisors to ensure tubing checks are completed prior to mobilization.
  • Maintain compliance with ADNOC standards, procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Provide inputs for MIS, progress reports, and operational updates to management.
  • Support training and development of assigned personnel to meet operational objectives.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, ADNOC Codes of Practice, and emergency response requirements.
Ideal Profile
  • Diploma in Logging Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production logging and well intervention operations.
  • Strong operational knowledge of logging tools, slickline services, and well integrity requirements.
Skills Set
  • Ability to supervise contractors and multi-disciplinary field teams.
  • Strong data validation, reporting, and operational coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of production logging standards, invoicing validation, and contractor performance management.
  • High awareness of HSE requirements in oil and gas field operations.
