Senior HSE Engineer; Project - Offshore

Role Overview

Lead and manage Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) aspects of offshore projects ensuring compliance with corporate policies, international standards, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across all project phases.

• Develop and implement project‑specific HSE plans, procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Conduct hazard identification (HAZID), risk assessments, and safety studies for offshore construction and operations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards such as OSHA, ISO 45001, OHSAS, API, IMO and company HSE policies.
• Supervise offshore HSE activities during construction, installation, and commissioning.
• Organize HSE induction, training, and competency programs for offshore personnel.
• Coordinate with construction, mechanical, electrical, and marine teams to ensure safe execution of activities.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans for offshore operations.
• Lead emergency drills and evaluate effectiveness of response procedures.
• Prepare HSE performance reports, KPIs, and dashboards for management review.
• Maintain records of audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

• Minimum 15–18+ years of experience, with at least 5 years significant in offshore projects.
• Holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety, Environmental Sciences, or a relevant discipline.
• Strong knowledge of offshore safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
• Certifications:
  
  NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor (preferred).
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is an advantage.
