Position Overview

Technical Lead role in Abu Dhabi supporting critical water and wastewater emergency infrastructure projects under a PMC delivery model. This senior‑level position focuses on technical governance, design assurance, and protection of design intent across complex DB and DBO programs. • Act as the technical authority across all emergency water and wastewater projects under the Program Management Services framework.
• Lead technical governance during feasibility, detailed design, and DB and DBO delivery stages.
• Review, validate, and approve technical design deliverables, studies, and submissions to ensure consistency with approved design intent.
• Ensure compliance with client standards, Abu Dhabi authority requirements, and international engineering best practices.
• Provide expert technical input during tender evaluations, contractor design reviews, and technical clarifications.
• Support the resolution of complex technical, engineering, and interface issues across multiple projects.
• Provide technical oversight during construction stages and support commissioning readiness activities.
• Coordinate with PMC teams, designers, contractors, and client stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical objectives.
• Identify technical risks and support mitigation strategies to protect asset performance, safety, and long‑term reliability.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 20 years of experience delivering major infrastructure programs, with strong exposure to water, wastewater, and sewage treatment projects.
• At least 5 years of experience in a senior technical leadership or technical authority role.
• Proven experience working within PMC or PMO environments on large‑scale utility projects.
• Strong background in pumping stations, treatment plants, hydraulic systems, and process infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience reviewing DB and DBO contractor designs and providing technical assurance.
• Demonstrated experience working with Abu Dhabi authorities and regulatory standards.
