Responsibilities
- Oversee all mechanical aspects of construction projects ensuring strict adherence to design specifications, quality standards and safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate mechanical subcontractors, providing clear direction, resolving on‑site conflicts, and ensuring timely execution of work within approved budgets.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor mechanical work progress, identify potential issues and implement proactive corrective actions to maintain schedule and quality.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and schematics, offering technical guidance and clarification to site teams and subcontractors to ensure accurate installation and compliance.
- Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Holds relevant certifications such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent mechanical or construction-related certifications.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical construction, with a strong focus on industrial, infrastructure, or large-scale projects.
- Exhibits a strong understanding of international mechanical codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, ISO) and applicable safety and quality regulations.
- Candidates must have relevant experience in Pipeline, EPC, Oil & Gas, Flowline, Brownfield, Upstream Facilities, or Wellhead projects. Preference will be given to candidates with prior Gulf experience, especially those who have worked on ADNOC projects.
