- Assist the Resident Engineer in supervising construction of pipelines, drainage systems, water treatment facilities, and related infrastructure.
- Conduct site inspections to verify water-related works comply with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
- Support resolution of technical issues related to potable water, wastewater, and drainage networks.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution of water system activities.
- Oversee inspection and testing of materials and workmanship for water infrastructure.
- Monitor commissioning and handover activities for completed water systems.
- Maintain daily records, inspection logs, material approvals, and progress reports.
- Document deviations, issues, or changes related to water systems and elevate to the Resident Engineer.
- Ensure health and safety compliance for all water-related construction activities.
- Review and validate contractor submittals including shop drawings, materials, and method statements.
- Monitor work progress, identify delays, and assist in mitigation planning with contractors.
- Liaise with authorities, stakeholders, and contractors on water-related technical matters.
- Manage documentation including permits, certificates, approvals, and archival files.
- Monitor environmental compliance related to wastewater, stormwater management, and pollution control.
- Promote sustainable water practices and environmentally friendly solutions on-site.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Engineering, or related field.
- Strong understanding of water infrastructure construction, inspection, and testing.
- Experience with potable water, drainage, and wastewater systems.
- Knowledge of UAE water-related standards and regulatory procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for resolving site technical issues.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage documentation, reports, and inspection workflows effectively.
- Strong awareness of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Ability to support multiple tasks within fast-paced project environments.
