- Manage the overall technical operations of assigned LNG and LPG vessels, ensuring compliance with management agreements and international maritime regulations.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to ship masters, chief engineers, and onboard teams on operational and engineering matters.
- Review vessel repair requests and supervise execution to ensure compliance with class, IMO, OCIMF, and ICAS standards within approved budgets.
- Prepare dry dock repair specifications, evaluate tenders, and oversee dry docking activities to ensure quality and cost control.
- Monitor planned maintenance systems and certification renewals to ensure continuous vessel seaworthiness and operational readiness.
- Supervise acquisition of marine equipment, navigation systems, safety gear, and spare parts to maintain fleet performance.
- Monitor fuel, lubricants, chemicals, and store consumption to optimise operational costs.
- Conduct technical inspections of machinery, structural components, and documentation to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Maintain and review technical monitoring systems covering passage performance, fuel efficiency, cargo boil‑off, dry docking records, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, cost analysis, and budget forecasts for fleet operations.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies, promoting safe and sustainable maritime practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or related engineering discipline, or foreign holding Certificate of Competency Class 1 (motor or steam) or equivalent.
- Relevant maritime certifications and licenses.
- Minimum 8 years of sea‑going experience progressing to Senior Officer or Chief Engineer, plus at least 1 year as Technical Superintendent or equivalent.
- Proven experience on LNG or LPG carriers within the oil and gas transportation industry.
- Hands‑on experience with X‑DF and MEGI engine technologies.
- Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations, classification society requirements, and dry docking processes.
- Excellent analytical, budgeting, and technical reporting skills.
